Rachel Burdick, Business Intern

My name is Rachel Burdick and I am a business intern for San Mateo Child and Family Counseling Center. I am a rising senior at Burlingame High School and plan on majoring in environmental engineering in college. I’m also interested in psychology and work on the Star Vista Teen Crisis Line, advocate for mental health resources in the community through Health Ambassador Program Youth (HAPY - though Star Vista), am a member of the Southern San Mateo Mental Health Youth Advisory Group, and facilitate a monthly teen support group affiliated with Star Vista. As a business intern here, I help analyze credits and debits, along with creating month by month profit-loss statements to help compare our revenue and expenses. I’m very excited for this opportunity to combine the intersectionality of mental health and learn the finances of running a small business!
