Aylin Hernandez is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) #144145. She earned a Bachelor of Psychology at California Lutheran University (CLU) and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Attachment at CLU. Aylin has experience working with children and adolescents in the clinical and school settings. She has also worked with individual adults, couples, and families. Aylin values providing an empathetic and non-judgmental environment when you walk into the room. The theories she has adapted to her work include but are not limited to family systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy, and mindfulness theory.
When Aylin is not at the counseling center, you can catch her reading, hiking the beautiful mountains and forests of Northern California, or spending time with her puppy!
